FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!  EVERYONE IS INVITED!

Come be part of this historic day as we celebrate the Grand Opening of the amazing Building Our Future Park in downtown Winder!

ENJOY THE PLAYGROUND! Our ADA-accessible playground featuring the Barrowsaurus climbing structure and many other great ways to play will be the centerpiece of the event.  Walking trails will be open, too, so come get some fresh air and enjoy being together!

MEET BARRY! Come out and meet Barry, our fun-loving mascot and have your photo taken with him!  We’ll have lots of Barry merchandise for sale including T-shirts, pins, stickers and magnets to help support future development of the park.

BUY A BRICK, HELP BUILD THE PARK! Be part of this historic project by purchasing a brick for the park!  Proceeds will help the Barrow Community Foundation build the splash pad, dog park and other Phase II features in the future.  The sooner we can fund them, the sooner we can build them! Order your bricks today!

HISTORIC CEREMONIES! You’ll be able to say you were there on the first day! The official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be conducted by the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce at 10:00 AM followed by the big reveal of the park’s new name and the Wall of Donors who made it possible.

ACTIVITIES AND GAMES! Community organizations will have booths featuring free popcorn, cotton candy, drinks, facepainting, balloon animals, a treasure hunt, games, prizes and more!

FOOD TRUCKS! Popular food trucks will be on hand selling food and drinks.

MUSIC AND FUN!  We’ll be rocking the park with family-friendly music, games and a dance party!
