The Barrow Community Foundation has been serving our community since 2009.  By facilitating charitable contributions, the foundation has made a significant impact on important community projects:

• Raised $5M+ to develop Winder Legacy Park and partnered with Barrow County School System and the City of Winder to build and maintain this extraordinary community asset.
• Supported the development and sustainability of the Barrow Literacy Partnership through fiscal sponsorship during its organization.
• Stewarded nearly half a million dollars in scholarship funds and awarded thousands of dollars to deserving students each year.
• Responded to the Apalachee High School tragedy by activating the Barrow Community Crisis Fund on the day of the incident.  The fund raised nearly $1M and has made grants to support mental health resources, financial assistance to impacted families, assistance to first responders, and resources to support the direct recovery of the school.
